Levenstein Learning was founded by Al and Whitney Levenstein, a wife-and-wife team of educators committed to helping students become confident, capable, and curious learners. Together, we bring more than two decades of experience as classroom teachers, learning specialists, interventionists, instructional leaders, and curriculum designers, supporting students across a wide range of learning needs and academic settings.
Both Whitney and Al hold Master’s Degrees in Teacher Leadership, are New York State Department of Education Certified Teachers, Orton-Gillingham trained, and multisensory certified learning specialists in their respective fields. Al specializes in mathematics instruction, intervention, and enrichment, while Whitney specializes in literacy, reading, writing, and humanities. Our combined expertise allows us to provide thoughtful, individualized support that helps students build both academic skills and lasting confidence.

Our goal is not simply to improve grades or test scores. We strive to help students become confident, independent learners who approach challenges with curiosity, resilience, and a genuine love of learning.
